The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017.

    The given illustration of the graph depicts information about how many visitors traveled to a particular Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017.

    Overall, the total number of tourists had an upward trend while there was fluctuations figure in both visitors staying on cruise ships and island.

    Looking more detailed at the line graph, it is obvious that the number of people opting for staying on cruise ships rose from a low of 1 million people to 2 million after increasing and decreasing differently between 2010 and 2013. The proportion of those who chose to stay on the island was in a similar fashion. The figure experienced a period of stability in one year, followed by a varied growth pattern.
 
    The total number for both two types of visitors was negatively correlated. While the beginning year saw modest growth, since 2015 the amount remained unchanged. However, there was a sharp acceleration to nearly 4 million tourists at the end of the period.
