The line graph illustrates the amount of 4 different types of food which people in Europe nations consumed from 1979 to 2004

Overall , fish were the least common used in europe nations thoughout the period . Although the expenditure for beef and lamb showed a downward trend , the figure for chicken was a fluctuating increase    

It can be seen that the figure for beef in 1979 , which was the highest consumed , approximately 220 grams per person per week . In the same year , the consumption for chicken and lamb were lower , below 150 grams and exactly 150 grams respectively , while the amount of fish accounted for the lowest number with nearly 60 grams eaten.

During 25-year period , there was a considerable increase in chicken , 250 grams. By contrast, in 2004 ,the consumption for lamb were around 60 grams compared to 50 grams the amount of fish .In 2004 the Europe nations witnessed a  significant decline to approximately 130 grams in the consumption  of beef after it reached its peak at around 240 grams in 1984.

the amount of = the porprotion of = the figure for = the percentage of = the rate of = the ratio of = the level of ,  i suggest that you should  use these words for ur task better
