The table below gives information about a restaurant’s average sales in three different branches in 2016.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The table provides an analysis of average sales in three different branches of a Vancouver chain, namely Georgia Street, Dunsmuir Street and Drake Street, in 2016. Overall, it is clear that the branch in Georgia Street is the company’s most profitable branch, whereas Drake Street branch earns the least.

It can be seen that the highest number of transactions fall into Georgia Street branch, which registers 854 transactions a day on average, over 100 more transactions than Dunsmuir Street (750) and more than the double of Drake Street’s transactions that is 390. Besides, Georgia Street is also the branch with highest transaction value of $10.69, compared to Dunsmuir Street’s $5.61 and Drake Street’s $9.02.

On average, the number of eat-in and take-away transactions are almost equal in each restaurant, with take-away transaction numbers ahead in two of them. Drake Street, however, is exceptional with the number of eat-in transactions surpasses that of take-away transaction by 10.

Additionally, the table also gives information about what is most interested in the three branches, revealing that the eating habit of customers in each area are widely varied. In particular, Georgia Street’s best-seller is Chicken Burger, while customers in Dunsmuir Street and Drake Street are more into Chicken Wings and Chicken Pasta, respectively.
