Question

       The table shows information about changes in modes of travel in england over the period 1985 to 2000.

        Overall, there was a upward trend in the all modes in 2000 was significant greater than the all modes in 1985 from 4.740 miles to 6.475 miles.

         As can be seen from the table graph, the modes of travel by car in 2000 is higher than the modes of travel by car in 1985 (4.806 miles and 3.199 miles respectively).Similarly, there was a dramatic rise  in the mode travel by train  over a 15 year period from 289 miles to  366 miles . the proportion of modes travel by long distance bus went up steeply from 54 miles  to 124 miles and the number of modes travel by other increased significantly in the period from 1985 to 2000 from 450 miles to 585 miles .the travel by taxi in 1985 is higher than the travel by taxi 2000 13 miles  and 42 miles  .Incontrast , the mode of travel by local bus in 1985 is larger than the modes of travel by local bus 2000 429 miles and 274 miles respectively . Likewise , the mode of travel by walking decresed considerably from 225 miles to 237 miles  and bicycle also decreased considerably  from 255 miles to 237 miles.
