In recent years, many brands develop their quantities of products sold out by the way they advertise in their marketing campaigns. Those campaigns may boost their sales considerably although people do not exactly need them for consuming. This statement may be true in some situations. In my country, advertisement has been considered to be one of the most popular method to improve sales of brands directly.
On one hand, brands usually take advantage of customers' curiosity in order to attract and make customers purchase their products. Therefore, advertisement of those brands is fulfilled on a lot of social media means such as Youtube channel, Television... Especially, online shopping channels like Shopee, Tiki are usually utilised to spread products to customers. It is easy to see that advertisement on social media stimulates customers to consume products and then brands can easily reach their aim profit.
On the other hand, one of the most popular strategies used to obtain massive profit which brands usually implement is that they invite celebrities through advertisement contracts. In this way, famous people bring products around customers including their fans and then they purchase to support as well as experience qualities even though they have no need to consume.
Sometimes, from my observation, many customers still truly buy some goods just because of their qualities, their values to respond customers' necessities. In addition, customers also want to experience some products overestimated by other people. Subsequently, it is proved that there have many products owning large sales and their qualities receive entire recognition of consumers all around the world such as Dior, Samsung, Nike and so forth.
In conclusion, I always claim that brands should invest advertisement for their marketing campaigns to spread their goods to customers and enrich their profits.
