Choices (Cambridge Ielts 13 Test 2 Task 2)

Question

Some people believe that nowadays we have too many choices.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?


In these day and aged, with the introduction of new technology, the life is gradually improving. It lead to the changes of people’s mind about choices. Some believe that they are satisfied with a lot of choices, while the others don’t think so. This essay will discuss about both these views.

To start with, the more improvements in the technology and robot, the more choices for you and I agree with this idea. The recently advance has created new significant and practical changed to human work and training. For example, incase of headhunter, there are a numerous of website or social network, e.g. Facebook, Lotus.vn, Timviecngay.com for finding approriate person for that work, instead of finding employees offlines, which requires immerse cost. In short, for any criteria, there are many ways to approach.

In contrast, some people still find it difficult and hard because there is no suitable choices for them. In fact, they may have many choices, but the drawback of each choice could outweight the advantages, so each decisions is gradually odd out. Base on some investigations, social networking sites such as Facebook collect personal data to provide better services to user and to some people, they feel as their life, as well as their secret is not protected. As a result, too many choices frustrated these people.

By and large, it cannot be denied that our life is consist of our choices. However, the key factors of these choices is our decision. If we decide a lot of choices, no one is for you and vise versa, as someone has written: “Life is enough for people’s need, not people’s greed.”
