Topic: Should textbooks be replaced by e-books?

     The rapid development of Information Technology has an immense impact on all aspects of our life, and education is no exception. The introduction of digital books is supposed to be the appropriate substitution of printed books. Personally, I am in favor of this statement.
     To start with, this educational electronic device is very convenient. Not only can it store thousands of books but it is also easily portable. Students will no longer lift heavy bags which have a large number of textbooks to school; they only need to bring a tablet or IPad with, instead. By using e-books, learners can organize their class materials digitally to access by using any smart device. 
     In addition, e-books are not as expensive as physical books. For example, some eBooks applications and web provide users with books which can be bought with cheap price. In the meanwhile, students have to buy many books for new school years and they cost much money. When we up-graded, these books may became old- fashioned and worthless although we have spent a lot of money on them while e-books is always updated and useful.
     Last but not least, digital books are eco-friendly and greener than paper books. They do not require the demolish of tree for paper. A lot of electric devices now can be refilled using solar energy rather than batteries. As a consequence, the environment would be protected.
In a nutshell, the widespread usage of e-books is totally advantageous for everyone. On account of that, students should be encouraged to use digital books more for a better and more modern educational system.
