What problems do children face when going online without parental supervision?

How can these problems be solved?

Writing:

According to the Internet World Stats, an estimated 3 billion people accessed the Internet, which denoted that it rendered many significant benefits to society and individuals. However, that juveniles participate online community without parents’ supervision sparks off some trepidation. Included in this essay are the Internet’s pernicious impacts on children and some suggestions to solve these problems.

The first problem of unsupervised access to the Internet of the youths is that they can hardly manage their timetable. The undoubted repercussion of this issue is that autism, sensory processing disorder, anxiety, depression and other psychological diseases associated with children’s Internet addiction are increasing at an alarming rate. Besides, juveniles are likely to be distracted from studying. A typical example of this situation is related to my sibling, Ha (aged 14). She spent much time on making virtual intangible relationships through social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Subsequent to that, almost her peers left her behind at school. Another corrosive influence of the Internet overusing on young children concerns online scams. It is alleged that many female children are suffered from sexual harassment by anonymous fraudsters. Therein lies the problem; they are too young to discern how precarious online dates are.

With above listed things, the youths are counselled to make their schedule. In other words, time used to utilize the Internet needs monitoring. Simultaneously, juveniles should join outdoor activities, which not only make them avoid getting online communication but also helps them enhance their social skills. Furthermore, parents’ sharing and superintendence are highly recommended. The predominant reason why children have tendency to make virtual relationships is that children usually feel lonely and not sympathized by their parents. Therefore, parents should spend time sharing their daily problems with their kids.

By way of conclusion, I would restate that the Internet is a double-edged sword. Juveniles should balance their timetable and avoid the online fraud since there are many dangerous situations on the Internet.
