Parents are those who start our life, bring up us and also give us too much love. They not only take care of their children but also teach them value. Parents are thought to be the teacher of their children. However, I firmly believe that they are not the best teacher for several following reasons.
Firstly, parents commonly too close to their children emotionally. In other words, children, especially teenagers do not allowed to attempt to do anything that they interest. For instance, one children have an idea in creating a new chemical liquid, he will be prevented intermediately by his mother or father because of the dangerous of chemical liquid. If he does this without parent’s permission, perhaps his parent will judge them like a disobedient child who never listen to them. They might be right, to some extent. Nevertheless, parents probably not realize that their children will lost chances to face challenge, opportunities when achieving something that they has done by themself; therefore, they also cannot be more mature.
Apart from that, there are amount of parents who have a huge desire that their children have the same interest with them. Consequently, they sometimes force their children doing things that they want, namely their children future occupation. It is commonly known that people just success in their career if they study their dream school and do their choice job. In addition, parents’ drive may influence on the nature development in temperament of their children since they were toddle, marking them imitate their mom and dad and step by step losing their ego then they cannot become the activist.
In conclusion, parents can be the teachers, but cannot be the best teacher. In my view, I think parent should find the best way to show their love and their caring to children that not including bad influence on children’s natural development, help them do their most effective way for their life.
