Some people argued that children should read story books rather than watching television and playing games on computer. Although children can improve their reading skill and imaginary via books, I disagree with this idea to some degree because games and TV offer children social knowledge and enhance their intelligence.
On the one hand, there are two main reasons why books are good for children. The first reason is that they can improve children's imagination and creativity. In other words, reading books without images allows children to interpret the story in their own way as they want. For example, if children read the story ''The Little Prince'', they can build the appearance of The Prince and other details from their perspectives. Another reason is the Improvement of their reading skill. If children are familiar with reading and spend a large amount of time on it, they will have the ability to read fast and therefore, do well in the reading exams.

However, computer games and television also play a crucial part in children's development. as for watching TV, it offers the viewers a large amount of knowledge. nowadays TV has a wide range of Channels which are specialized in various fields such as science economy and animals. as a result, children can easily gain social knowledge from TV as a recreational education. furthermore playing games not only help players entertain but it also makes them smarter. Some research, for example, has pointed out that games like ''brainstorm'' and ''chess' on computer help boost children's thinking as they require tactics and skills to win.

In conclusion, despite some benefits of reading books, other means are TV and computer games can also have children to learn and be clever. I believe that children should expose to all these means of learning to be fully developed.
