Writing task 1

The line graph above illustrates the number of working travelers traveling by car, bus, and train in Britain from 1970 to 2030.

Overall, it can be seen that people traveling by car and train witnessed upward trends while the other one witnessed a downward trend

From 1970 to 1980, there has been a slight increase from 2,7 million commuters traveled by train, 3,5 people used the bus as transportation, and only 5.6 millions of them decided to use their own cars. In 1980, people who went to work by car and train grew from 5.6 to 6.5 and 2.7 to 3 million people respectively. There will be a sharp growth from an estimated 3 to 5.7 million in people who used a train to get to work from 2000 to 2030. The number of people who take train as public transportation will be going up from 6.5 million to 9 million in 30-years time between 2000 and 2030

In contrast, it is predicted that there will be a gradual decline for bus which decreases from 3.5 to exact 3 million people from 1980 to 2030
