Children have been gradually far away from reading because of the video games' lure. Some people think that the parents should read to help them to get reading motivation. In my opinion, it is a useful way and I will explain why in this essay.

It is true that the parents' styles are often associated with their children's emotion and behaviour because of their family relationship. This is the reason why the children's thinking is influenced significantly by their parents. For example, when the parents tell them the stories from the books they read such as the animal world, mythology, they can make children discover the whole magnificent world existing in these books. Furthermore, they tend to imitate their parents' actions, leading to finding to more books to satisfy their imagination. In these cases, the parents play an important role in creating the interest in the reading for their children.

Besides, another way to increase their happiness for books is having a wide range of books, which easily attracts to a large number of students. It is clearly that a variety of books develop muach more choices for all of the students to read a certain book they enjoy. Also, one way to make them interested in books is having book competitions because the competition enhances their motivation to read more. In particular, if teacher askes the students to read some reference books to get several supporting ideas to illustrate the topic given. This helps them to consider books as useful resources providing numerous information.

Overall, in order to draw the students' attention in reading books, the parents are thought to be an essential part in bringing the happiness in reading to students. But it is not the best way because there are other ways we should know including a wide range of books and books reading competitions. If we combine these ways skillfully, the effect will be over our expectation.
