The chart compares the gender distribution of US students participating in 6 different computer science related subjects in 1011

 

It clear from the chart that the number of male students exceeded that of female students in nearly all subjects except for Linguistics

 

In detail.Both gender showed much intereast in Natural sciences and psychology. The evidence is that nearly all students (at least 175 out of 200 students each subject )studied these two subjects.  Engineering and programming courses had the same situation with 150 male student participations  each sector and around 70-80 female student ones. Additionally, a significant difference can be seen in the gender distribution of mathematics subject, 200 male students joined in this subject and this figure was nearly 5 times higher than that of female students

 

In contrast, More female students studied linguistic .About 110 female student took part in this subject compared to 80 male student did
