Topic: Nowadays young people are admiring media and sports stars, even though they do not set a good example. Do you think is positive or negative development?
General regarding, economy has been developing in the recent years, leading to demand of mental people also increase highly, especially young generation. Nowadays, some people consider that young people are having great admiration for media and sports celebrities although they are not perfect role model to follow. In my opinion, this problem have both positive and negative aspects , as will now discuss in this essay
From my perspective, famous entertainment stars’s patterns of fashion and behavior influence strongly to young adults who are not mature enough to judge what is suitable and proper within their society. In fact, adolescents have fashionable trend which is not suitable with their ages, they deliberately change style and behavior to copy what their idols say and show on TV, eventhough those actions go against the cultural value of standard society. For example, few years ago, entertainment of Korean attacked into Vietnam, many young people started to follow and catch up fashionable trend of Korean singer by various ways such as dyed hair, tatoo on their body although they are sitting on the seat of high school. Additionally, reverence for celebrities in the field of entertainment possibly cause a detriment to social security under certain circumstances. A typical example about disordering during the performance of Super Junior band last year. When the crowd of fans roared and hustled each other in order to clearly observe their idol, which caused irritation for the local citizens. Besides, some young people use many words lack of culture to protect their idols, who are criticized due to their scandals. This impacts badly to mental ans bright soul of young generation.
Nevertheless, some media and sports stars are good example to study and follow about their admirable action such as helping poor people and orphanage children, struggling to controvert social evils,.. In recent years, protecting women’s right in UK has been successful and a person represent for “United Nation Enitity for Gender Equality and the empowerment of women” is Emma Waston, who played Hermione character in Harry Potter film. She is not only renowned actress but also bright example for young people.
In conclusion, admiring well-know stars in the field of entertainment is not completely negative. I think negative or positive influences of this depends on the ways of young people’s approach and education method from the family and school.
