IELTS Task 1: Music albums purchased by people in Britain according to sex and age

Given are two bar charts providing the genres of music albums are bought by British as regards genders and the level of age. Overall, male purchased classical and rock music more than female did, and rock music and classical music were acquired by people aged 25 to 34 and people over the age of 45 respectively.

As can be seen seemingly in the first bar chart, nearly 30% of British made a purchase rock music, which was approximately one and a half the proportion of female people. Inhabitants in Britan aged 25 to 34 purchased rock music more than those of 16 to 24, at just over 30% and under 30%. roughly one in four British purchased rock music, and the smallest group was people over 45 years of age, occupied a mere 10%.

In term of the second bar chart, male also made a purchase classical music higher than female did, at nearly 10% and an negligible over 5%. People over the age of 45 accounted for the highest proportion, at aroud 20%, which is higher than people aged 25 to 34. A negligible 3% of peole between 35 to 44 accquired classical music, and classical music is the least popular among younsters aged from 16 to 34.

Bài này tuy là 2 chart nhưng có liên quan đến nhau, nên mình nghĩ phần selecting và grouping information nên được chú trọng hơn là diễn tả chi tiết từng bài. Mình nghĩ nên chú trọng các chi tiết sau:

• Male luôn mua nhiều nhạc hơn female và mọi độ tuổi dều mua nhạc rock nhiều hơn classical trừ trên 45
• Chart 1 các độ tuổi mua nhạc khá đều nhau nhưng trên 45 là ít nhất.. chart 2 thì có 2 độ tuổi chiếm ưu thế hoàn toàn
• độ tuổi 16-24 và 35-44 hầu như không mua nhạc classical, có thể diễn đạt tỉ lệ gấp bao nhiêu
• độ tuổi 25-34 chiếm tỉ lệ lớn trong cả 2 chart, nhưng phần trăm chart 1 gấp đôi chart 2
• độ tuổi trên 45 có số ng mua classical gấp đôi rock
