The death penalty?

Question

People have different views about the death penalty. While some people disagree with the idea of capital punishment, others believe that it make society becomes better. I partly agree with this statement.

On the one hand, I can understand the arguments favor punishment. Firstly, the serious criminals who did bloody crime to innocent victims should have to pay high price by their life. This is fair to innocent victims who died or suffer pains by crime of offenders. For instance, by no means does victim’s family feel relieving if criminals after killing cruelly people still out of law without appropriate punishment. Secondly, by dint of removing dangerous criminals, society may become purify and people feel safer. Finally, after witnessing the capital punishment, people with fear of death penalty are supposed to stop committing offences.

On the other hand, it is undeniable that death penalty is cruel and go opposite the humanity. Governments have no right to take another human life including serious criminals. This triggers revenge from criminal’s relatives. People may live in a society with a circle of revenge. Furthermore, death penalty creates a violent culture. For instance, children who witness the strict laws of governments may become more aggressive and behave violently with others. Another reason is that the criminals sometimes have no serious intention of killing victims and they may be affected by hard environment. Therefore, they need to be received tolerance from society as well as victims’ family to rebuild their life and have chance to correct their mistakes in the past.

In conclusion, governments should consider carefully in any single situation before they reach their decision about death penalty.

mình nghĩ đề hỏi về quan điểm của mình như thế nầy không nên dùng on one hand và on the other hand. mình nghĩ bạn đang lạc đề viết theo kiểu discuss rồi bạn ạ.

Tuy bài hỏi là agree or disagree, mình vẫn có thể trả lời theo ý partly agree mà bạn, cấu trúc của partly agree mình nghĩ nó cũng tương tự như trả lời dạng discuss đó bạn ;)

Thay cruel bằng inhumane tránh lặp từ.
