Nowadays, an increasing number of people are concerned about the purposes of university education. Although some people believe that knowledge is only given in university, my view is that job related skills have an equal position with theoretical knowledge.

On the one hand, it is obvious that job-related skills can improve the way student study effectively. Job skills such as technical skills might help students approach to the state- of- art technologies which is known as artificial intelligence such as laptop, internet,… lead to easier access knowledge in the rest of the world without distance barrier to find authentic data utilized for their major. Furthermore, students are able to combine various of materials to learn such as videos, images, podcast, … to comprehend their subjects in school. For example, in recent years, educators has been applying software named “Anatomy” which is likely real body to teach anatomy in medical school that extremely easy to follow.

On the other hand, practical skills can help students get higher employment rates after graduating. First, various of companies tend to require many years of experiences that means they would spend less time to retrain employees to qualified workers lead to gain more profits through productively workers. Second, if universities focus on not only hard skills but soft skills such as communication or leadership skills , labors will be able to approve employees climbing the career ladder faster caused they have more chance to select better jobs lead to easier to pass their interview.

In conclusion, focusing on both job related skills and theoretical knowledge is the main function of universities education. Meanwhile, we should not overlook the other crucial factors universities are undertaking.
