Some students decide early in life to pursue vocational careers that involve cooking or baking. For them, it is better to study their chosen occupations in high school rather than regular subjects. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words.
It is not true that striving for employment is perfectable to attending education. I completely disagree with the decision of the students who prioritize work over learning.
Everything requires thinking, and only learning helps people train their minds. First, all topics involve computation such as math, physics, and chemistry, will benefit students greatly in a variety of job fields. For example, when cooking, an unsuitable mix of spices or food preservation would cause the dish to go rancid and spoilt, but if the cook understands the components, the dish will become fantastic. Second, literature, history, and geography are all socially related subjects that play a significant role in people's lives. The cook must not only know how to cook, but also comprehend the culinary culture of many different regions in order to make dishes that are appropriate for each person's taste. There are meals that are unique to this country but are reviled in other countries, such as blood pudding in Vietnam, which shocks many foreign diners; obviously, cooks cannot create blood soup businesses in other countries.
On the other hand, nothing, not even work, lasts forever. It is very difficult to achieve if people solely focus on work without a basic foundation, because like building a house, the foundation must be created first; no one constructs the floor first. Furthermore, due to the human tendency to explore and learn new things, after a lengthy period of cooking or working in an industry, a sensation of boredom will grow, and people will have to start learning all over again. It is a waste of time to switch industries. Instead, learners create a solid knowledge basis from the start, and if they don't enjoy their current job one day, they will not hesitate to shift jobs. People's goals, on the other hand, are high; no one wants to work for a living; everyone wants to be the boss. So, if students don't learn and gain information, no one will listen to them, and they won't be able to become a leader.
In conclusion, going to work without knowledge is more vital than learning subjects in school. Any work necessitates knowledge ranging from fundamental to advanced, thus people must constantly strive to develop themselves.
