The chart shows the difficulties people have to face when they move to a new country and how these problems vary according to people’s age.

With people aged 18-34, sorting out finances seem to be the most problematic which was experienced by almost 35 percent of people in this age group. However, fewer people over 55 (28 percent) have this problem while people aged 35-54 find it very difficult with the percentage of 35.

Besides sorting out finances, people in all age groups find that sorting out healthcare is also a considerable problem with a very high percentage in each group. Between 32 to 37 percent of people find this a big problem.

On the other hands, fewer people have problems in the education area. While 18 percent of people age 35-54 find it hard to find a suitable school for their children, the other groups are much lower with 6 percent at the young age group and 3 percent at people over 55.

In sum, all age groups experience the same problems to some extent. But among three groups, the percentage of people aged 35-54 is slightly higher than the others, particularly in the education field.
