________________________________

Public health has long contributed to the development of society. Opinions are divided as to whether the number of healthcare facilities should be raised or other alternatives to the increase of sporting amenities should be developed. I believe sports facilities and other healthcare methods should be developed together.

Ar1: Increase the number of sports facilities

On the one hand, it is understandable why the quantity of sports facilities should be increased. Playing sports on a regular basis could facilitate people to prevent detrimental diseases. When an increasing number of healthcare amenities are constructed, people could choose whichever sports facility tailored to their needs and, thereupon, could keep practising sports any time. As a result, people’s physical health could be strengthened intensively, which would significantly mitigate the risk of contracting multiple diseases when getting older. In other words, raising the quantity of sports facilities attributes to the prevention of illnesses and diseases and could improve public health

Arg2: Other measures are required

Despite the benefits brought about by the increase in sport services, healthcare and medical services should be enhanced to supplement and foster the overall healthcare system of society alongside fitness amenities. Investment in healthcare and medical services should be made to protect people from accidents in emergencies. Sports facilities could only be of prevention rather than a long-term treatment for any patients in case of sudden accidents. When people’s life is threatened by accidents, available sources of medical treatment can be the only solution to cure these patients rather than sports facilities. Therefore, medical services should also be invested and further developed to better the public health of society.

In conclusion, I believe both expanding sports facilities quantity and developing social healthcare and medical services are intertwined and worth empowering for the flourishment of public health.
