Some people believe that chidrem should be allow to stay at home and play until they are six or seven years old. Others believe that it is important for young people to go to school as soon as possible. Discuss both views and give your opinion
There have been different opinions on the appropriate term that young children should attend schools. Some assume that children should go to school at an early age, while others consider the best time for schooling is until they turn six or seven. I believe that children should be privileged to go to school as soon as possible.
Children being allowed to enjoy a carefree childhood at home until six or seven years old has several benefits on their mental well-being. Attending school at an early age means that a child has to deal with numerous issues concerning peer pressure and parental expectations. Young children who stay at home and only attend school at six or seven years old are more likely to be optimistic and resilient when encountering schooling problems. In other words, those children can have better prepared mentally and physically for their educational path.
However, I believe that the cognitive and social impacts of starting school in the formative years are understandably enormous. Firstly, the episode from three to seven is the best time for a child to assimilate elementary knowledge. Being early exposed to academic insights encourage young children's intimation to the educational environment. A child may become more enquiring about learning, which would eventually be beneficial for his cognitive development. Another benefit is that those attending school at an early age tend to be more independent and well-behaved. Substantially, this essential quality encourages the children to do their homework and take the initiative in their daily routine without parental support. Starting school at an early age poses a significant influence on a child's mental development.
To conclude, albeit some advocate for children staying home until six or seven, I suppose they should be privileged to attend school in their early years.
