The graph shows how Australian boys and girls who are 5 to 14 years old spend their leisure time. Watching TV or videos, bike riding, electronic or computer games and craft and art are introduced as a most popular doing among these groups.

In general, watching TV or videos is by far the most favourite activity among Australian boys and girls. While both Australian boys and girls spend the least leisure time on skateboarding or rollerblading.

Interestingly, both boys and girls spend the equal time to watch TV or videos, which stood at 100%. The percentages of boys enjoying electronic or computer games is higher than that of girls with 80%. Bike riding is another popular leisure activity and boys prefer it than girls as more than 75% of boys do it while less than 60% girls refer it. By contrast, more than 50% Australian young girls who are 5 - 14 years old, spend their time for art and craft compare to just under 40% of boys.
