The graph gives information about the consumption of fast food (in grams per week), in the UK from 1970 to 1990.

The line graph indicates the fast food consumption in 3 different categories: hamburger,pizza, fish and chips in Britain between 1970 and 1990.

On the whole, the figure for pizza suffered a downward trend while the hamburger, fish and chips consumption generally reversed.

A striking point is that in 1970, pizza was the most popular junk food in the UK whose consumption was threefold of fish and chips ( 300 grams and 100 grams , respectively ). From this point onwards, the amount of pizza witnessed a moderate decline, hitting the low point of 200 grams in 1985. After decreasing marginally, the trend showed gradual recovery over subsequent 5 years.

In contrast, the amount of hamburger, fish and chips consumed was substantially increasing. During 20-year period, there was a remarkable rise in the proportion of fish and chips consumed in Britain, reaching a peak of 500 grams in 1990. The pattern was similar for the corresponding figure for hamburger although the trend was less dramatic. Noticeably, in 1990, the fish and chips consumption doubled to the figure for hamburger.

1. Từ "indicates" trong câu mở đầu thiết nghĩ dùng "illustrates" sẽ tốt hơn.

2. "the amount of hamburger, fish and chips consumed was..." ==>> tại sao lại dùng consumed ở đây bạn nhỉ?

3. "..proportion of fish and chips consumed in Britain.." ==>> Từ <consumed> ở đây mình chuyển thành <absorbed> được không bạn nhỉ, như thể là tránh dùng từ <consummed> quá nhiều.
