The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015. The bar chart and table illustrate a country’s exports earning from five groups of products between 2015 and 2016.

Overall, it is clear that petroleum products were the highest earning in both years and the textiles industry experienced the most significant climb in earnings.

Export earnings from the oil_ based products increased from about $61 billion in 2015 to over $63 in 2016, which was an increase of 3%. The amount of money earned from engineered goods increased by 8.5% to roughly $62 billion in 2016.

From 2015 to 2016, the textiles industry was the most substantial growth of 15.24% with earnings rising from approximately $26 billion to over $32. By contrast, export revenue from farm produce was almost no change, which remained at just over $30 billion. However, there was a decline by 5.18% in the exports from precious stones and jewels products that fell from roughly $43 billion in 2015 to over $41 in 2016.
