In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

In the upcoming years, it is believed that people might replace printed newspapers or books with online ones because by using the Internet, they can read any articles or books for free. In my opinion, I totally side with this statement.

Firstly, it goes without saying that accessing information online is a faster and more convenient way. Thanks to the invention of digital technology, specifically the Internet, people can easily browse and read everything from A to Z in just a second with a click. Also, online news is always updated continuously, which never makes the reader feel fear of missing out on any latest or hottest topics without paying. Needless to say, reading online information is time-saving and cost-less, whereas purchasing printed newspapers or books will take quite more time and money.

Secondly, printing does not only cost money but also harms the environment by cutting huge numbers of trees in order to manufacture papers. In the last decades, the neglect of people put alarming consequences on the environment. The green and nourish forests are getting disappeared because of the paper-production demand, which changes the nature of our biodiversity badly. By supporting the idea of reading online articles and books can be one of the solutions to improve the environment effectively.

In conclusion, this transformation is not only beneficial for the financial side but can also reduce the tree-cutting down problem nowadays. I recommend the countries should start applying this approach which can help with improving their lands in many aspects.
