The given tables  illustrate the amount of money on fair-trading coffee and bananas in 1999 and 2004 in the UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium, Sweden.

Overall, it is clear that the sales of coffee and bananas in Switzerland and the UK were the highest levels of these two products respectively.

In 1999, the revenue of Fairtrade-labelled coffee in Switzerland stood at 1,5 million, which is by half compared to 3 millions of euros in the UK. Then, the coffee sales in the UK saw a dramatic increase and reached a peak of 20 million while this figure in Switzerland witnessed a double increase from 3 to 6 million. Similarly, the balance of coffee trade in Denmark, Belgium and Sweden increased slightly from 1999 to 2004.

Turning to the bananas category, it can be easily seen that the sales of bananas in Switzerland take up the majority of the market with 15 million after rising by 32 million to hit its highest point at 47 millions of euros. By contrast, the statistics in Sweden and Denmark showed a slight decrease from 1.8 to 1 and 2 to 0.9 million respectively.
