Now, we are living in an era of globalization and digital technology. Improving proper transportation facilities is always a challenge for any government. This could be a neverending argument although it is a huge railways network or improved road systems that facilitate the transportation of products or citizen’s movements. I, however, believe that rails are likely to become ideal transportation in the future, so the administration should invest in railroads rather than highways. There are two primary reasons for this.

First of all, trains are faster and can transfer a huge number of passengers and goods at the same time. While thousands of vehicles, such as cars, motorbikes, buses carry workers and pupils each day in a city, a few carriages can do the same. Traffic congestion has killed millions of work hours and has cost a lot of money, basically caused by the wide range of road transports. A vast train system can be an alternative to reduce these problems.

Another reason for allocating money on railroads is that expanding roads is almost insoluble as they must destroy some existing places. Despite this, rails primarily use the rail transports aside the cities and consume less space. Effective management in rails tracks can reduce traffic jams and save time. That is why it is considered to be the transportation of the future. For example, developed countries utilize transportation facilities and improve the quality of rail networks.

After discussing all the points mentioned about, I finally conclude that authority should disburse money on subways more than expressways. We cannot deny the importance of bus and truck transits, but we should use the railroads effectively, and make our lives better without congestion or wasting of time.
