Each year some languages die out. Some say this is good because fewer languages would make communication easier and relieve people of burden of learning foreign languages.

Do you agree or disagree?

In the world, there are many languages. However, each year some of them are disappeared. While some people think this is good because it will make the way we communicate easier than before, I still believe that the diversity of languages have benefit for individual and society as well.

First of all, language represents the culture of each ethnic so that if one language dies out, the culture will be disappeared. This is because language is not only the way we communicate but it also contains the culture, and knowledge of each ethnic group. For example, Chinese is the earliest language that appears in the world. If Chinese die out, people in other countries couldn't know the culture, history and celebrate of China. Therefore, people should respect and maintain language.

Second, language is evidence about the diversity of human knowledge. People will lose knowledge which was written about certain language if they just know a few languages. This is because, in each country, they have different language. For example, in China, Japan or Korea people use hieroglyphs while in England or America people use Latin letters.  The languages have the same value and it is valuable property for the nation. when one language disappears and people only know less information which was written by a limited number of languages.

Finally, preserving language diversity is important for studying linguistics. Losing a language is losing valuable resources for linguistics

To sum up, people should conserve all the language around the world to prevent culture and knowledge lost.

In the world, there are many languages. However, each year some of them are disappeared. While some people think this is good because it will make the way we communicate easier than before, I still believe that the diversity of languages have benefit (have a lot of benefits) for individual and society as well.

First of all, language represents the culture of each ethnic so that if one language dies out, the culture will be disappeared. This is because language is not only the way we communicate but it also contains the culture, and knowledge of each ethnic group. Therefore, people should respect and maintain language.

Second, language is evidence (evident) about the diversity of human knowledge. People will lose knowledge which was written about certain language if they just know a few languages. This is because, in each country, they have different language(plural).
