Question

Topic: Some people think that governments should give financial support to creative artists such as painters and musicians. Others believe that creative artists should be funded by alternative sources.

Discuss both views and give your own opinion. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. You should write at least 250 words.

Nowadays, creative artists are the assets of our society and it brings the entertainment for people. Some people think that should be supported and funded by the government. I believe that non-government institution should support them financial. These points of view will be discussed in this order.

On the one hand, governments support is vital to artists and their projects. Perhaps by governments want to change the quality of life of the artists, live in poverty. In fact, a few artists who can successful in their fields, have an independent financial, whereas others are strugging for life and low-income. Likewise, if non-government institution wants to build a non-profitable art gallery, attractive foreign people, it need to a vast sums of money. So, without financial funding by governments, our cities would be much less interesting.

On the other hand, creative artists may not need to the financial of governments because creative artists like painters and musicians can receive financial support to the non-government institution or their fans. Besides, as to painters or musicians, they can earn money by their products. For example, musicians who can sell their CDs and soundtrack when they are famous. Moreover, when entertainment companies need to creative artists, they can pay a lot of money for artists, so artist can have an independent financial.

In conclusion, I believe that there are good reasons why creative artists should not be funded by government’s financial, but the alternative sources should give financial support to artists such as their fans or sell their products.

On the one hand, the government's encouragement is vital to artists and their projects. Perhaps by the governments want to change the quality of life’s artists who live in poverty. In fact, some artists who are successful, they are independent of financial, whereas others are struggling for life and low-income. Likewise, building non-profitable galleries to attract foreigners requires a huge amount of money from the non-government institution. Therefore, without financial funding from governments, our cities would be much less interesting.

On the other hand, creative artists do not need to use the government financial because creative artists like painters and musicians can receive financial support from the non-government institutions or their fan clubs. Besides, painters or musicians who can earn money when selling their products. For example, musicians as an example, sell their CD’s or soundtrack and join events to work continuously.

In conclusion, although some people argue that creative artists should not be funded by the government’s finances. It seems to me that the alternative sources should give financial support to artists.
