Hobbies are indispensable things in spiritual life. While some people think it is easy to have an interest, others argue that challenges can make hobbies more interesting. In my opinion, I partially agree with the statement that hobbies need to be difficulties in order to be enjoyable.

On the one hand, there are a great number of simple hobbies for people to pursue. Take reading books as an example. This interest is not only easy and inexpensive but relaxing and useful. Certainly, with the explosion of mass print media and Internet, there are no obstacles to get a book and be deep in it. Books can be seen everywhere ranging from streets, stores to in-font-of doors. All readers do is to spend a little spared time enjoying materials. Another hobby which is not difficult to have is running. This exercise requires very little equipment, it is simple to learn and it is inexpensive. Moreover, practitioners can derive benefits from this hobby.

On the other hand, difficult hobbies can sometimes bring some interesting experiences. If people take up an activity which is more challenging, they might feel a greater sense of achievement when they manage to conquer the hindrance and do it successfully. For instance, playing violin is an interest that needs great efforts, persistence and passion. According to musicians, it takes at least 6 years to play violin in the basic level. After getting over all challenges and becoming competent at this activity, players will have the feeling of satisfaction and enjoy it more.

To sum up, whether hobbies is easy or not, they give people pleasure and enormous benefits which affect significantly spiritual and material aspects of people.
