Given is the graph concerning the percentage of unemployment among young people aged from 16-24 in London in the period of 1999-2012

It’s evident from the information supplied that the unemployment levels in ages group of 16-24 in London were much higher than those in the rest of England and overall England. Also, there was an upward trend in the number of unemployed people among this group in London in given time.

London saw a dramatic decrease in the number of unemployed people in 16-24 aged groups from about 22% in 1993 to 10% in 1999. After leveling off at 10% in the next four years, the rate soared rapidly from 10% 2002 to 20% in 2006, which was twice higher than that in the rest of England.

There was a slight reduction of nearly 2% between 2006- 2007, which was followed by a rapid climb to the peak of 25% in 2012. Meanwhile, the percentage of young unemployment in the rest of England was just 20% . And in comparison with overall London, the number was just somewhere 10%.
