more important than others?

There is no denying that in the today world, economic success represents the strength of a country because of the fact investments in military, community services or education call for a grand budget. However, to the best of my knowledge, the underlying path which acts as a beacon leading a country to success is education.

Education builds a sound basis for a country to achieve success, which means that it has its strong connection with other aspects. One visible result of lack of education is the deprivation of skilled labours and technical highbrows. For example, South-Sudan has the worst education in the world and ends up remaining a underdeveloped countries since its birth. According to Unicef, 70% of children from 6 to 17 have never set foot in a chool and only 13% finishes their primary cycle (from grade 1 to grade 8). There can be no better proof for the fact that one in four people in South-Sudan are  illiterate than these statistics. As the world is now heading for a new age of information and technology, no Western companies want to hire cheap labours in such countries because of their defiency in required technical knowledge to operate machines. Therefore, families here keep struggling in the throes of generational  poverty, which then leads to the weakness of a country’s economy.

In a conclusion, government must take steps to make sure that their educational system serves the purpose of producing civilized and knowledgeable subjects. Without  education, a country will be full of maladies, poverty and inequity.
