Some rich countries provide financial support to the poor countries, but some other people claim that they should provide some other types of help to those poor countries. To what extent you agree or disagree?

In such uniting world we are living, people are growing closer to each other, individuals and nations-wise. One noticeable of this background is that some wealthy countries tend to provide financial support to their less fortunate friends. However, there have been disputes on whether they should give some other kinds of support. From my personal view, I agree with this perspective for reasons of both countries' beneficial and the poorer's personalities.
My former point is supported by scientific evidence. First of all, psychologically, we all know that once a child is given something, he or she is likely to come back for more. Applying this view to a nation. It should be fine if help is given once but how about more than that? Would this country stand on itts feet instead of begging for an offered hand over and over again? This occurence would potentially harm both the givers and the givens, even resulting in areas' confict.
Regarding my latter point, I would like to reclaim the age-old saying: "Money is not everything". Financing is not a wise option for every unfortunate land. Especially those who are unlikely to help themselves up. Sometimes, if money is not in the hand of a smart spender, it will be nevertheless, valueless. Evidently, this has happened to Vietnam when this country receives support from the US regarding Chinese making turbulence on their West Coast. Supposedly, the savings must be spent to help fishermen revive their business. However, it is still no where to be seen, no result is to come out of that amount.
To sum it up, Vietnam is not the only country who sincerely needs a different choice of support. If we could help others in an intelligible way considering each country's feature and characteristic, the effort would account for a much better result and a much happier world.
