The tables illustrate how fairtrade - labelled coffee and bananas were sold in Uk, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium and Sweden in 1999 and in 2004. Overall, Uk earned the greatest amount of money in 2004  while most of five countries experienced significant increase in sales of both products, except Belgium and Sweden
Looking at the first table, the sales of coffee in Uk rose rapidly from 1.5 millions in 1999 to 20 millions in 2004. The amount of sales in Switzerland in 2004 was twice as much as in 1999 with 6 millions while the figures for Denmark, Belgium and Sweden were 2, 1.7 and 1 millions in 2004 respectively.
Turningvto the table of bananas sale. Uk also saw a sharp rise in the consumption of bananas at 15 millions in 1999 and 47 millions in 2004. Meanwhile, Switzerlnd and Denmark sold more than 3 times in 2004 than in 1999. By contrast, Belgium and Sweden had a drop in sales. Belgium earned 1 million in 2004 compared to 1.8 millions in 1999 and the banana sale in Sweden declined to 0.9 in2004
