Some people want to live in a big city while the others expect to have a peaceful life in country. Certainly, there are many differences between the city and the country. It involves the environment, acitivities and job oppurtunities. I have chance to live in both place, so I know what make them different.
Firstly, it is about the environment. Generally speaking, the enviroment in the country is very fresh. Trees are everywhere that means the air is extremely pure. Because of the low density population, domestic sewage is not a problem to environment. In addition, people living in the country aware of how to protect the environment from pollution. However, in the city, with density population, garbage drom residental areas or factories is the main reason causing polluted. Moreover, heavy traffic makes the air is always full of smoke. Clearly, people living in a city get a higher rate of cancer than the country.
Activities is also an aspect that I want to mention. The life in country is quite boring. People often go to sleep early. They choose to stay at home instead of joining on the parties at night. In fact, not too much festivals are celebrated in the country. In contrast, we have a lots of options when we live in the city. Mall centers, amusement parks or music concerts give us more choices to relax. The festivals or sale markets are taken place all the time. Briefly, life in the city is much more excited than in the country.
Last but not least, it is about job opportunities. There are more and more people leaving their hometown to come to the city for seeking a better job. While agriculture is still the main income of all people in the country, big city give you a chance to earn more money. Many bid international companies have their locations in the citis, so it is much easier to find a good job. Instead of making ends meet in the country, you can make more money to do what you want. That lead to the reason why people live in the city have a higher standard of living than the country.
In conclusion, no matter where you are, in a city or a country, the important thing is you can find the happiness. This goal can be reached only if you define where you belong to.
