Our today’s world is experiencing the massive use of global natural resources. This essay will point out the potential risks are and provide some feasible solutions to change the situation.

As a matter of fact, the main source serving for industrialized activities of companies across the world derive from raw materials of the nature. Taking wood for construction, using fossil fuels for transportation or coals for production cause more harm than good to humans’ environment as well as endanger species’ habitat. For example, the citizens in China have been suffering from the  high level of contamination of smokes released from the factories, which lead to threat of health such as respiratory diseases, asthma or lung cancer. In addition, apart from the economic benefits, the overusing of natural resources results in the shortage of energy in the near future.

Tacking these issues, of course, requires a long-time progress. Firstly, strict legislations and laws should be imposed strictly to deter people from using natural resources illegally. Secondly, spending partly the national budget on research into renewable resources such as solar power, wind power or nuclear energy is a wise choice, which will reduce considerably the level of pollution. Lastly, more environmental campaigns should be carried out to call for a fundamental change in the attitude of people towards intelligent usage of natural resources. By pointing out how terrible this planet become if any individual do not understand their role in protecting the natural resources, the situation will become much better.
