Topic:  problems of working in intercultural environments

I admitted that the working for a foreign company bring me a lot of international experiences, but I also faced up to some challenges for cooperating with them.  What I would like to mention below will make it clear about some difficulties to collaborate with co-working foreigners.

There were some serious problems relating to the material wastage with a production division in my old foreign company which I worked for during 2.5 years. Knowing the problem, my Singaporean superior planed to punish this department with almost Vietnamese workers by reducing year-end bonus and basic salary. But I absolutely disagreed with his decision because it was really unfair to go to the unprecedented solving only based on the sense of biased thinking.  So I tried my best to arrange one private meeting between the production officers with him to elaborate my own opinion and suggest the solution for this matter. First of all, we let the officers had the chance to explain that the material deflect caused the higher ration of product defect and refusal in the production, as the result, the wastage obviously originated from the batch of unqualified material input not by human errors.  And they also showed up some evidences about the defected material. Then, after we was passing the very effective discussion in an amicable environment, we came to the united agreement that we would classify the material input before putting it into the production line. And Singaporean manager also changed his mind about the punishment, that means the all production employees were free of the wrong-doing charge.

In conclusion, we will have been meeting some difficulties and problems relating many aspects in foreign companies, but we can have the more efficient and proficient solutions which we will follow based on the flexible and amicable negotiation for all international conflicts in workplace .

"Knowing the problem, my Singaporean superior planed to punish this department with almost Vietnamese workers by reducing year-end bonus and basic salary" I think punish is used for people, for example, punish his Vietnamese employees. I suggest to rewrite the sentence as following "Our supervisor, a Singaporean person, planned to cut the year-end bonus and reduce the basic salary of the whole department that has almost Vietnamese workers, as a punishment."
