In the modern world, the argument that efforts of authoririties on mitigating enviromental pollution and housing problems may result in effective cautions for preventing illness and diseases, in general, remains a source of controversy. In my opinion, I agree with this viewpoint.
To begin with, it can be easily recognized that environmental polluiton is terribily effecting health condition of human kinds. For example, global warming resulting from air pollution or gas emmission from manufactural factories melted the iceberg in the North Pole. As a result, this disaster made coastal provinces face up with a risk of being sunk under the ocean and thousands of people being killed. In other case, water contamination caused by irresponsible disposal of industrial waste may poison underwater creatures such as fish, squid, prawn, etc. Human will increase their risks of geting illness or diseases when they eat those food. In addition, it can be seen that housing problems are also reasonsfor poor well-being of mankind over the world. While vast-mega cities are emerging in the delevoping world as people migrate in search of work, many of them can't find houses that are affordable to them, then end up building their own housing on unoccupied land with cheap materials and poor infrastucure such as electricity and water supply. This situation decreases the quality of life of general inhabitants in both education and health conditions.
In contrast, if governmental policies in environmental protection and housing solutions can be enacted properly, social well-being and health conditions can be improved. In that perspective, environment pollution can be controlled by articles of law preventing negative activities of businesses, meanwhile housing problems can be tackled by policies managing the migration of urban population to cities.
In conclusion, in order to prevent illness and disease, I greatly support the idea that governments should try their best to reduce environment pollution and housing problems,
