There are many different type of music in the world today. Why do we need music? Is the traditional music of a country more important than the international music that is heard everywhere nowadays?

Nowadays, music is a important part in human being’ s society. As a result, music industry has increased rapidly in recent decades to cater going up demands of listeners all over the world. Music helps to release people’s stress and connect people in different countries together. It is believed that traditional music has more impotent roles than international music that is listened in every corner of many countries. This will be proved by analyzing how traditional music has influences on tourism industry and image of a nation.
On the one hand, traditional music has a lot of benefits to develop tourism industry of a country. Take Viet Nam for an example, many foreigners have gone to Viet Nam to see and listen to Quang Ho music songs that have original start up in the north of Viet Nam. It has lots of oppotunities for international people to understand more about Vietnamese’s culture and social life. As this example shows, it is understandable why traditional music is more important than international music.
In the other hand, traditional music helps to identify unique icon of a nation. For instance, when a oversea traveler discovers about traditional songs that are called Don Ca Tai Tu, this person might think about the southern land of Viet Nam if this man has ever been Viet Nam, because this type of music is typically in the south of Viet Nam. It is clear from this example that traditional music has an important role in the image of a country.
After analyzing how traditional music develops tourism and identifies image of a nation, there is no doubt that traditional music is more important than international music. It is recommended that traditional music will has a strongly position in a country’s music industry in the foreseeable future.
