There are a lot of benefits of pursuing tertiary education. Firstly, pursuing higher education will open the door to better job opportunities. This is because universities offer students a learning environment, where you can not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also cultivate practical skills. It is evident that many employers would rather select formal academic candidates who are likely ready to start working than non-academic ones who need training. Secondly, students are usually encouraged to take part in extracurricular activities while studying at college. This will enable them to improve soft skills such as communication skills and teamwork. Also, when doing several tasks and projects in different fields, students can find their major as well as a job that fulfils their satisfaction in the future.
