The line graph compares the waste production of three companies over a 15-year period between 2000 and 2015.

It is noticeable that while there was a downward trend in the waste material of companies A and B, the waste produced by company C witnessed a significant increase over the period shown. Another interesting point is that the waste output of company A was the largest in 2000, but in 2015, company C produced more waste than the others.

In 2000, the amount of waste produced by company A was 12 tonnes, whereas the waste produced by companies B and C was approximately 8 tonnes and 4 tonnes respectively. Over the next following five years, while companies B and C saw a considerable increase in waste production by roughly 2 tonnes, the figure for company A decreased slightly by 1 tonne.

From 2005 to 2015, with respect to company A, the waste output declined by nearly 3 tonnes. Regarding company B, the figure plummeted by roughly 7 tonnes. By contrast, there was a dramatic rise in waste production for company B by 4 tonnes. By 2015, while the amount of waste of company C had risen to approximately 10 tonnes, the figure for companies had dropped to nearly 8 tonnes and 3 tonnes respectively.
