Recent years have witnessed a boom in e-commerce; online shopping has evolved, making a multitude of differences from the conventional type. The first is operation time. Online shopping gives people the opportunity to shop whenever; however, retail stores are only open certain times, like 8a.m to 9p.m. Hence, internet shopping is more advantageous than in-store shopping for the young who are busy with office work. The second is the ability to examine the quality of the brand. Owing to being unable to see or touch the goods when purchasing products via the internet, it is difficult for shoppers to differentiate between counterfeit and authentic ones. Conversely, shopping in physical stores allows customers to handle items and try on the spot before paying, contributing to guarantee merchandise reliability for buyers. The third is shopping safety. On the one hand, traditional shopping is safer since online shopping has a risk of online fraud and security issues - namely, hacking or crediting card scams. On the other hand, going to the shops is also possible to be a victim of pickpockets or muggers. In summary, there are several contrasts between the two buying methods, yet choosing which way to shop mainly depends on personal preference.
