Some people say that advertising is extemely successful at persuading us to buy things. Other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it.
Dicussion both view and give your opinion

Every now and then, people argue that advertisements are so ubiquitous that people will not be fascinated by them anymore. However, many may say and i agree that advertising industry is still thriving as its effect on people shopping habit.
As the development of technology, advertisements would be popped up anywhere consumers go. We don't need salesmans to meet their customers face to face anymore, a piece of email, short call or probably a text message, people no longer see an advertisement daily at all, they receive it hourly and some of them get used to it. For instance, we receive a lot spam emails from businesses, pop up from social media and calls from salesmans. As the frequency itself, people even have an "immune system" against them.
On the other hand, i believe that repetition is key and somehow, shoppers are still persuaded by those vivid and creative advertisements. For instance, when we search for a pair of shoes on the internet not for any purpose. Google, which is connected to social media, will send us lots of recommends on our newsfeed and incidentally, he or she thinks that pair of shoes is on trend and they have to buy it. Hence, without marketing campaign, people would buy only essential commodities and presumably do not know about what is in vague or should they change their style. If it had not been advertising, consumption would decrease substantially and may lead to recession.
In a nutshell, it is true that people are getting used to advertisements due to it frequency, however, i believe this industry is the best way to urge people to consume more, leading to the wealthy and thrive of a nation.
