It is said that raising children is the most difficult process in the world. There has been a debate on who will nurture the child. Many people believe that school is responsible for bringing up good kids while others think that this is the job of parents.
To begin with, most of views emphasis parental duties toward their offspring. They spend greatest of time with parents and learn from them. This brings advantages in the education of a child. Not only that, there are evidences that children imitate actions of elders. Hence, parents not just teach kids but also improve themselves. For example, by telling family’s history or educational stories, a juvenile can easily learn about good behaviors.
Oppositely, some people opine that the learning of good actions should be done in schools. Firstly, school is a convenient environment for children to learn not only knowledge but also behavior. Kids can get these from their teachers or friends. Additionally, children who make mistakes are allowed to correct them. They can also be motivated by awards at school.
In conclusion, the personality development of a child needs coordination between home and schools to enrich his skills and polite attitude.
