Bài IELTS Task 1 - Consumption of Fast Food by Australian Teenagers

Question

The line graph shows changes in the consumption of Pizza, Fish and Chips and Hamburgers between 1975 and 2000.

 

It is clear that there were significant increases in the consumption of Pizza and Hamburgers over 25-year period. We can also see that the figure for Hamburgers decreased dramatically.

 

From 1975 to 1985, there was a fluctuation in the consumption of fish and chips, from 100 to 90 times eaten per year. Meanwhile, the amounts of pizza increased significantly and peaked at around 82 times eaten per year over the same period. At the same trend, an increase in Pizza consumption was seen, reaching around 42 eaten per year.

 

By 2000, the figure for Fish and Chips had dropped dramatically by 60 times eaten per year. By contrast, the consumption of Pizza and Hamburgers had increased by approximately 15 times and  20 times respectively.
