The table illustrates how many vehicles licenced in 5 means of transportation and show the percentage change from 2010 to 2014 in Australia.

Overall, Passenger vehicles were the most popular choice with Australians while motorcycles experienced a significant increase.

Regarding the report, 1180000 passenger vehicles were registered and accounted for the highest number of transportation, followed by 2300000 commercial vehicles in 2010. Next, motorcycles were about one fourth of vehicles used for merchandising. Furthermore, the number of heavy trucks and light trucks were 384000 and 106000 respectively. In the last two years, it witnessed a relatively unchanged trend, the figure of all transport forms went up steadily. Passenger vehicles were still considered as  Australia’s main traffic with over 12,5 million licenced vehicles. However, light trucks in 2012 were the least well-known type, with approximately 125 thousand vehicles registered. 

In addition, total motorcycles skyrocketed to 709000 in 2014, it saw a 30.8% increase within 5 years. Noticeably, light trucks surged 23.5% between 2010 and 2014 in spite of the least number of vehicles- only 131000 in 2014. In terms of advertisement, the vehicle's rate was a considerable escalation to 2,7 million in 2014 with 17.4% increase. Significantly, passenger traffic which occupied the first position of number over 5 year went up only 10.2%. Finally, heavy trucks reached a record low, it witnessed 416000 vehicles in 2014 and increased 8.3% from 2010 to 2014.
