Look at the graph, it is immediately obvious that all of price types and CPI increased through 30 years period and price for fresh fruits and vegetables took the lead in almost years 

All of the lines on the gragh have the same starting point in 1979. Over the period, the consumer price index experiance stead increase from 50 to more than 200. sugar and sweets witnessed a most expensive cost in 1982 at 100, before rised slightly to 200 in 2009. The lowest increase was the price of carbonated drinks, about 70 through the period 

there was a dramatical gap then to fresh fruits and vegetables price with the others, the cost of fruits and vegetable fluctuate in the 6 begining years. after that, the price soared significantly to 330 in 2000, after overtook the price of sugar and sweet, carbonated drinks in 1985
