Question

Some people agrue that job satisfaction is more important than job security, while others believe that they cannot always expect job satisfaction and a permanent job is more important. Discuss both these view and give your opinion

It is agrued that job security is not as important as the job that we feel satisfied; whereas others believe that people should do a job that frees us from stress unemployment and ensures a stable job. I am personally in favor of the viewpoint of the first group.

There are several reasons why job security is more important than satisfying job. First of all, today's cut-throat labour market where thousands of new gradutes face to unemployment annually. Therefore, staying in the same job is a much safer choice than switching job to find job satisfaction. Second, the more people find a job, the more an increasingly competitive job market. Moreover, the rising cost of living, especially in the major cities, which makes secure job has become the most important consideration for job seekers.

In spite of the above agruements, in my opinion, job satisfaction would better than a stable job. We should never stop looking for job that makes us happy and fulfilled. No matter how competitive the labour market, it is still enough job for everyone. Furthermore, spending several months or even a year seeking a rewarding job is much better than spending a lifetime stuck in a job that we are reluctant to do just because it is safe and stable. Consequently, we have always regretted choosing a stable monthly paycheck.

In conclusion, although some agrue that secure job is better than satisfying job; however, I am of the opinion that we should choose a job that makes us happiness and fulfillment rather than stablility.
