The line graph indicates the proportion of the out-of-work in the US and Japan over a six-year period.

It is noticable that both two figures witnessed great fluctuations all the period before standing at the same point in the last year given.

With almost 7% reported in March 1993, the rate of unoccupied peoplein the US fell steadily before hitting a low of roughly 4,8% in March 1998, followed by a slight rise to 5% in the last surveyed year. Despite being far too lower than the US, with only 2,4% of the unemplyed at first, Japan saw its figure constantly climb over a period of 5 years, peaking at 5,2% in March 1998 then dropped back to 5%, equal to the other firgure.

In conclusion, as a positive side, the unemployment rate in the US experienced a fall all the way, the workless in Japan, however, accounted for increasing proportion throughout surveyed years.

comment

in common, there are usually 2 paragraphs in the body of task 1 thus you should choose two main fields and put it in 2 paraghaphs. and because you have an overall so the conclusion isn't necessary. and you should give more comparison between the datas. I'll give you a 5-5.5 for this

if my comment is helpful please like and vote for it as the best common.
