SOME PEOPLE SAY THAT ADS ENCOURAGES US TO BUY THINGS THAT WE REALLY DO NOT NEED. OTHERS SAY THAT ADVERTISEMENTS TELL US ABOUT NEW PRODUCTS THAT MAY IMPROVE OUR LIVES DISCUSS BOTH VIEWS AND GIVE YOUR OWN OPINION.

Many people feel that the incitements of commercial advertisements are practically in purchasing unnecessary items, whereas others believe that advertisings help popularize new goods that enhance our living standards. This essay discusses both sides of this argument and then I will give my own perspective.

There are compelling reasons why advertisements provide people with incentives to own unneeded articles. The main reason is that multinational conglomerates create meticulous ads to persuade consumers to buy their products. To illustrate, fast food chain McDonald’s promotion campaign is to aim at enticing children with toys and playrooms in order to sell kids' meals. In addition, vigorous advertisement campaigns are promoted across a plethora of channels such as TV, billboards, online and soon to draw consumer's attention to purchase goods that may be out of necessity. Consequently, people become more ambitious as advertising compounds their desire to own more items.

However, there are also some merits of ads. The primary advantage to consumers is the awareness of new products. Informative advertisements can benefit people in their daily lives. For example, campaigns of medicinal fluid to remove minuscule warts can greatly help people by removing dead skin cells from their body. Furthermore, advertising of the same kind of product from multiple vendors or manufacturers influences competitive pricing in the marketplace and thus greatly benefits us. For instance, toothpaste advertisements of Colgate, Crest or other brands provide one with varying options to choose from. Therefore, ad campaigns can enlighten consumers.

In conclusion, I believe both sides of the argument have their merits. On balance, however, I feel that advertising enlightens us about new items which might ameliorate our lives. This is because if the products that are advertised will be more well-known and can be easily selected between the many same kinds of the product but come from different brands.

I think that you need to use "practical" instead of "practically" at the beginning of your introduction.
